Brenda Wheeler, President of Jason Mechanical Corp.
was hired as part time book keeper in February 1998, and was promoted to Office Manager/Corporate Secretary in 2001. Over the next few years Brenda learned the daily operations of Mechanical Industry from the office to the field.  She managed the Salesman, Project Estimators, Field labor as well as the Office Staff. In 2010 Brenda was promoted to Vice President.

In 2012 the owner announced his retirement plans and offered to sell the company to Brenda, she accepted. In March 2014 Brenda was appointed acting President and ran the business successfully until finally buying the company, and becoming President/sole owner of Jason Mechanical Corp. on August 17, 2017.

In 2018 with Brenda as Owner Jason Mechanical Corporation applied and was Nationally certified as a Women Owned Small Business, Women's Business Enterprise and a Minority Owned Business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), respectively. Additional Certifications held Women/Minority Business Enterprise Certification by the State of Illinois Department of Central Management Services, Business Enterprise Program (BEP) for Minority, Females and Persons with Disabilities and certified as Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) by the City of Chicago.
